1983

In 1983 I began to make more two-sided vases. I also began to incorporate a new factor in some of the pots. Rather than using a single (or double but twisted) wire to cut the slabs, I began experimenting with using a stretched out spring to cut the slabs. The result was a sort of wave pattern. In some ways it was pushing the corduroy pattern of the twisted wire to larger scale.
